Isaiah 52:4-6

New International Version

“At first my people went down to Egypt^(A) to live;
    lately, Assyria^(B) has oppressed them.

“For my people have been taken away for nothing,
    and those who rule them mock,^[a]”
declares the Lord.
“And all day long
    my name is constantly blasphemed.^(C)
6 Therefore my people will know^(D) my name;^(E)
    therefore in that day^(F) they will know
that it is I who foretold^(G) it.
    Yes, it is I.”
